RE: Vocab-ability–128 (limina, limi = threshold, border) – A More Powerful Vocabulary (earn UpVotes with “Vocab Practice” exercise)

MY VOCAB PRACTICE:

  1. Limit:
I'm getting to the limit where there is going to have to be a decisive choice between living life or checking out with a bottle of pills, a couple bottles of wine, and the freeway right below me.
  2. Preliminary:
Scott, the preliminary run is the only shot you stand at making it to the next round.
    3 Subliminal:
I started to cry one day after watching and reading things about subliminal messaging because I I knew at that point that I was one of the victims of the poisonous sounds, which produce particual pictures in our brains.
  3. Eliminate:
You once eliminated a guy just for saying "Your shirt is a nice yellow"?
  4. Sublime:
I wish sublime joy would wash over me and change my life forever.

Good work!

I just hope none of those cars on the freeway will be driving over the speed limit at that time!

Ya. That would suck if there was a traffic jam. Didn't think of that one. 8-) LOL
