RE: Vocab-ability–144 (meter, mets, mens = measure) – A More Powerful Vocabulary (earn UpVotes with “Vocab Practice” exercise)

MY VOCAB PRACTICE:

  1. Metric system:
Who can tell me who invented the metric system?

  2. Speedometer:
A red liquid went splat against the broken speedometer found in the junk yard.

  3. Thermometer:
My brother and I would turn up the thermometer in the night to get ourselves warm.

  4. Commensurate:
Building the pyramid commensurate to the ones found in Egypt has been attempted but without success.

Sort:

Good work!

Apparently, it's almost physically impossible to build anything like the pyramids!! Makes you wonder.

Well, if the imperial invaders would stop going in to rape the African continent and steal things they haven't yet come to understand how to use, we might come to understand how they were built.
