MY VOCAB PRACTICE:

1. After several hours of harsh interrogation, the accused seemed to display signs of succumbing to the allegations.
2. Many native in the country believed it was their prerogative to own a 35% stake in foreign direct investment through bypassing meritocracy hence causing the downfall of the country.
3. Certain insecure people have a tendency to converse in a derogatory manner.
