Its been about 27 hours since i cut loose and voted willy nilly reducing my steem power down to 55%, it has regenerated since to 73%
So for the past 27 odd hours i have not voted on many posts at all and even when i have, the slider has been used.

Stop voting then it will go back up - use https://steemnow.com/ to check you voting power %

yes voting power starts @ 100% - you get voting power or influence on steem by having Steem power

voting and gaining rewards from up-voting and posting enables us to earn Steem, which you can cash out or invest in the steem platform called powering up - the more steem you have the more you can earn - i have 1899 steem and my maximum 100% up vote is worth $1.80

Yes since H19 you have to be careful. I think it's 10% voting per day if I say no stupidity. Anyway I'll follow you you look sympathetic.

mate I know what the slider do but I still didn't reach 300 SP to use a slider
bank steem into steem power - it wont take you long to get to 300sp
I do this when I get rewards on my posts and comments but my reward average is still weak but I hope it gets better soon
