Manchester City fought hard to escape from the hand of hot Arsenal at the Emirates stadium in a match that ended with a late winning goal from Rodri in the 93rd minute.

Arsenal were the one to score first in the 31st minute of the match. The Nigerian and England born winger Bukola Saka was the one who scored from a beautiful pass from Tierney.

The match took a different shape when Arsenal were shown the second red card consecutively against Manchester City. It can be recalled that the first leg of the match between both teams ended in five goals to nillq in the beginning of the season after Xhaka was shown a red card in the encounter.

Arsenal repeat the same senerio like the first leg when Gabriel was given two yellow card in the space of two minute. He was first shown yellow card in the 57th minute and later shown another yellow card in the 59th minute to make it red. His first yellow card was what gave Manchester City a penalty which was converted to goal by Mahrez.

After being reduced to ten men, Arsenal team tried to get a point but the determined Manchester City strategically find their way to the back of the net in the 93rd minute after Rodri pounced on a loose ball and fire in a shot to make City to go far from the reach of both Liverpool and Chelsea who are going to face each other at stamford bridge.

Do you think Liverpool or Chelsea can still meet hot and consistent Manchester City?
