Yeah, never had any qualms about using the f-bomb when warranted. And if it's not warranted now, when will it be? I wish you had the means to come over here and see us, though I wouldn't wish NZ MIQ on anyone. Except maybe a NZ politician.

What is infinitely worse than the govt doing shit like this, in my opinion, are the regular people who defend it.
In Canada there was some articles about unvaxed losing parental rights, and court orders forbidding a parent to share "misinformation" with kids with losing rights as potential consequence. Which is horrifying, but more horrifying were some of the commenters agreeing with these actions.
Meanwhile in the US, they slipped a notice in Homeland security about heightened risk of terrorism--
"The United States remains in a heightened threat environment fueled by several factors, including an online environment filled with false or misleading narratives and conspiracy theories, and other forms of mis- dis- and mal-information (MDM) introduced and/or amplified by foreign and domestic threat actors. These threat actors seek to exacerbate societal friction to sow discord and undermine public trust in government institutions to encourage unrest, which could potentially inspire acts of violence."
I say they slipped it in because they had everyone (including me for a minute) distracted with outrage over Biden creating a 30 million dollar fund for "safe drug using kits" which include crackpipes, syringes etc.
But yeah, the people who are cheering the govt on with this bullshit are who reall get to me.
