Goals & No-Goals in New Year

90% or more people set their goal to lose the weight. They can't keep up with the demand or the gravity of their goal. They eventually give up.

In short, the goals just don't work. Instead the process works if you learn it and decide to follow it till the end. That's the role of the goal in the process filled life routine.

You want goals to work for you. Make sure to setup a process and stick to it. Trying to follow the process is a path that leads to the completion of your goal.

If you want to lose the weight, just eat less and walk more. Trying to push beyond this little step would take a lot of mental energy off you. And more that energy is spent the less you would want to work on the goal.

Not all people can follow goals and have everything followed in the process. I know I can't follow the same routine for entire year. It's exhausting to be honest.

This is why I don't setup goals. Instead I setup a process. As that's what works for me.
