He does take 2 naps in a day right now, one is just now. And he's a sweet kid otherwise. Doesn't torture me much but yes, I can't work on my laptop with him around so I usually keep him with my house help while I am working.

Great!! Another one at that age is getting him to laugh and roll around. This helps a lot. Whatever you do... Do not place him in front of a grand piano or even standing piano. The kids will always try to pull the top of the piano down. No kid will every play the keys. You are better off giving them pots and pans and a spoon to play with than a piano at one. Some parents think their kids are Mozart and maybe they are but all one year old kids are more interested in how the piano folds up than how the keys work.
Oh Man! I can so relate to what you said above. I haven't tried a piano, but all the toys he has, he is never interested in playing with them but takes the batteries out and starts playing with them instead.
And you are so right about the spoons thing. He loves to play with spoons and plates and bowls. They are his favourite toys infact.
I can hear him now. Sometimes I wish our boys had styrofoam helmets until they were three or maybe 5. Too many falls.
