When I faced karma on my life

Recently while returning back home from office, i saw an old lady sitting and requesting people to give her something to eat. Most of them ignored her. I felt bad for the lady. She seemed around 80+ and desperately wanting something to eat. She seemed tired as well.

Moments later, i saw another old lady sitting and selling eatable stuffs to the opposite side of this lady. She looked helpless too but the fact that she chose to sell something and earn rather than begging, instantly raised my respect for her.

I wanted to help both of them. So what i did was, i bought some eatable stuffs from the lady selling them and gave it to the other lady to eat. Both got what they wanted :)

Now comes the karma part!

A week later i ordered something to eat, from an app that delivers food at our door steps.

I ordered a combo meal which comprised of a pizza, two garlic breads and a coke.

After 30 mins, my parcel arrived. I didn't have to pay anything since i had already paid online.

When i opened my parcel, i found that the parcel contained only two garlic breads and a coke. Pizza was missing. I got confused, wondering whether i have ordered the right combo. I checked my order in the app and realized that the order does contain a pizza, just that they have missed to include it.

I called up the customer care and told them about the missing pizza. They apologized for the same and ordered another combo for me. I asked, if i need to return this parcel and they said no, you can have it, we cant take it back.

I was happy to eat two garlic breads and a coke :P

Second time AGAIN i received the parcel without the pizza. Again the entire cycle repeated (calling customer care - reorder the same- eating the garlic breads and coke :D)

Now the third time i received the parcel and this time the pizza and coke was included but the garlic bread was missing!!

I couldn't understand their service which always misses some or the other food items ordered and called up the customer care to yell at them for such pathetic service. So i called up the customer care, told them about this, they apologized again and re-ordered the same. This time i was already full with a pizza, 4 garlic breads and 3 cokes :D

So i asked them not to reorder but instead improve their service and be alert while packing and delivering. This followed with tons of apologies again and the concerned person initiated my refund without me asking for it.

AND MY REFUND WAS DONE IMMEDIATELY!!

Now this was a surprise!!!

Bottom line - I had a pizza, 4 garlic breads and 3 cokes FREE OF COST !!!
