Mother’s Day is a celebration usually done to honour the mother of the family, as well as motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in the society. It is safe to say the mother usually has more access to the child especially in the African setting because of their ever emotional and soft persona and off course the stereotypical nature of the African society which demands that the woman does the training of the child over 70percent of the time.
The relationship between a child and a mother is such a strong one that starts from when the child is conceived through the delievery and then hopefully till the time of the woman on earth is done.
The mother trains the child, prays for the child, worrys about the child, teaches the child, plays with the child. She practically gives her self up for her child. She does all she can and all she has to do to ensure the child has the best she can offer in life.
The mother is soft in the heart and yet a warrior and a fighter in the war between life and her child.
