The global migration has been the greatest crisis ever. Some people decide to join the Urban areas, others choose more developed countries. The occurring feature has always been a search for a better life, a place to live and have a greater future ahead. Thousands and millions of people have been found in need and perhaps tempted to shift from their original homes within the shortest periods. Many of them located in Africa and Asia and thus dreaming for a better life.
Why not home?
They said home is always better, but this shouldn’t be the case as prior said. The aspect of migration always rises due to the effect of a need. People desire most to be well in the future. On the other side, they are more scared of what could be trending in the country. A country with policical instability, high rate of unemployment and corruption will always be a threat to migration. The worse part of it is that most productive people do decide to leave the country, this could be doctors, engineers, economists and many more.
On the other side, their values, abilities and educational qualifications may not be well considered. The aspect that surrounds human existence would simply means a loss of hope and a life with no goals. Moreover, some do decide to migrate to pursue their dreams. This way of seeing migration should be Encouraged and promoted if that particular person simply finds pleasure of doing so, not because the Country faces though moments but because there is a particular reason attached to that.
My fear always lies not on the people planning to migrate neither those already there but the though time they go through to reach their destinations. The risks they take and the hard time they go through should be the worse scenario ever. Moreover, not only there a greater loss of lives but also a huge number of population disparity within the region.
What could be the way forward?
Should the government restrict migrations? Or foreign countries build barriers against migrants? Or else there should be liberty for all? I believe no one can ever have a common response to the above questions. Moreover, a country intending to restrict migrations should first work on its personal growth while promoting economic and political stability within the region.
The overall result will be that the people will choose to stay in the country if they can find their personal satisfaction. Well, African nations would prioritize growth and take into account people’s will as one of their major tasks. Ended, home will be a better place if we really do treasure it.
Good luck. Maybe you should be president.
