Wagerr Launch Update - January 31st

Dear Wagerr Community,

The Wagerr core development team has been working around the clock for the past few weeks in an effort to deliver the best possible Wagerr blockchain network. Featuring PIVX’s Zerocoin (zPIV) privacy technology, this release is a crucial first step in our journey to provide the world with reliable and secure, decentralized betting.

Our progress has been steady and encouraging:

Mainnet genesis block created.
All proof-of-work blocks mined.
Masternode-sync issue resolved.
Developers are monitoring performance, stability, and the transition to pure proof-of-stake.
Throughout this period, a separate developer team has continued working on the betting layer of the network.

The revised target for universal Mainnet access is now Friday, February 16th. At that point, Wagerr tokens can be swapped or withdrawn to the Mainnet. Any rewards collected during the Proof-of-Stake phase prior to public access will be publicly destroyed.

Withdrawals from wagerr.com
Wagerr initially suspended withdrawals from wagerr.com while we patched against potential Spectre/Meltdown and other security threats. At the time, we believed that Mainnet would be available imminently, so we intended to resume withdrawals only upon release.

Consequently, Wagerr is re-opening withdrawals to Waves beginning February 1st, for the two weeks leading up to February 16th. Anyone who wishes is free to withdraw their Wagerr-over-Waves tokens and trade on the Waves decentralized exchange (DEX).

Fair distribution
Because we also want token holders to have equal access to relevant information about internal development, Wagerr pledges not to release Mainnet wallets before February 16th even if the technology is ready.

Pony up or pay up
We're so confident, that for every day that Mainnet is not publicly available beyond February 16th, Wagerr will publicly destroy 5000 tokens from the developer allocation.
