Hashtags can be augmented with additional information, such as:

  • Avatars (used in posts as graphical references to hashtags);

  • Name capitalizations (hashtags like 'bbq' can be displayed as 'BBQ');

Descriptions (it may be beneficial to inform users about the specific functionalities of hashtags, such as earning crypto on HiveEngine, or community guidelines for using a hashtag).

  • Hashtag avatars are something you could do on your frontend without needing the chain spam. Since you're the only person doing it, you're single handedly selecting all the avatars and this may as well be a private db function for your frontend
  • Specific case on hashtags could also easily be enforced on your own front end without the spam

The number of Hive front ends utilizing the Waivio protocol is growing:

  • CoffeeShop.Gifts

  • GoCampingList.com

  • CleanGirlLook.com

  • ActiveRunners.com

  • Pacific.Dining.Gifts

Additionally, many other projects are currently under development.

Even if that were a useful thing that literally anyone used ever, it still makes no sense for it to exist on chain when its all chain derived data in the first place.. Thanks for the response I guess but I've been getting years of notifications on a ridiculous amount of comments and I'm still waiting to learn anything useful or find any use from any of this spam.

Surely, after so many years of questions, you understand how this 'spam' is compiled into objects on Waivio:
