🍛 1 teaspoon curry powder
🌿 1 tablespoon fenugreek powder
🧂 1/2 tablespoon salt (or to taste)
💧 1 cup water
🍏 1 cup apple cider vinegar
Instructions
1- Prepare the Mango:
- Begin by peeling and chopping a large mango into small pieces.
- If you have smaller mangoes, use a couple to achieve the same amount.
2- Combine Ingredients:
- In a medium-sized pot, add the chopped mango pieces.
- Add in the garlic cloves, olive oil, turmeric, cayenne pepper, curry powder, fenugreek powder, salt, water, and apple cider vinegar.
3- Cook the Mixture:
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.
- Allow it to cook for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the mango pieces are softened.
4- Process and Cool:
- Once softened, remove the pot from the heat.
- You can choose to leave the mixture chunky or purée it into a smooth sauce using an immersion blender or food processor for a uniform texture.
5- Store and Enjoy:
- Let the sauce cool down to room temperature.
- Pour the cooled amba sauce into a Mason jar or an airtight container.
