Ingredients

For the Loaf:
🍋 2 cups of all-purpose flour
🥚 4 large eggs
🫒 1/2 cup of oil
🧈 1/2 cup of butter, softened
🍬 1 cup of granulated sugar
🍯 1/2 cup of brown sugar
🥛 1/3 cup of sour cream
🍦 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
🍋 1 tablespoon of lemon extract

🍚 2 cups powdered sugar
🍋 4 tablespoons lemon juice

Instructions

1- Preheat the Oven:

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Prepare a loaf pan by lining it with parchment paper and spraying it with cooking spray.

2- Prepare the Batter:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine 4 eggs, oil, softened butter, vanilla extract, lemon extract, and sour cream.
  • Add in baking soda, baking powder, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Mix everything together until smooth and creamy.

3- Mix in Dry Ingredients:

  • Gradually mix in the flour, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
  • Stir until the batter is well combined and smooth.

4- Bake the Loaf:

  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 55 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
