When you make a judgement about someone spontaneously, try to pause. Examine the content of that judgement and what you experience about it. Evaluate the reasons you have for judging another in that way. Try to decipher what negative feelings accompany that reasoning.
It is quite possible that by doing this little exercise you begin to gain how you project yourself. You will begin to understand what it means that "the thief judges by his own condition". You find in yourself the traces of what you find unbearable in others.
