On the first of February, I completed the first draft of my novella! At around 23,300 words, the book has finally come to a close. This is huge for me because it marks the completion of a story that has been in my mind since high school (around 12 years ago). After so many revisions and restarts, it is finished.
Now, I’m going to continue working on it over the next few weeks. In some scenes, I want to add clarity and extra details to help flesh them out. My main character also seems a bit too stoic for my liking, so I’m thinking of making him a little more emotionally dynamic. The plan is to complete all these revisions before the beginning of March!
The story is getting closer to its official completion, and I’m excited for it.
