The Anunnaki were not vague deities of wind and harvest. They had names, personalities, families, and politics. Enki, the god of water and wisdom, was seen as a benefactor of humanity. Enlil, his brother, was more severe and often acted as a judge. Anu ruled over them all from the heavens. These weren’t abstract forces of nature — they were beings with form, purpose, and power.
