🧀 1 package Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs cheese spread
🧀 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
🥛 1 cup heavy cream
🌶️ A dash of Tony’s seasoning (optional)
🍞 1 cup breadcrumbs
🧈 2 tablespoons melted butter
🫒 1 tablespoon olive oil
🌿 1 tablespoon assorted herbs (your choice)
🌿 Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
1- Prep the Lamb:
- If using, soak the lamb chops in milk for at least 30 minutes to help remove any gaminess.
- Pat dry and season each chop with thyme, rosemary, paprika, lemon pepper, garlic powder, sea salt, and black pepper.
2- Prepare the Cheese Mixture:
- In a medium bowl, blend the Boursin cheese, shredded Parmesan, and heavy cream until you achieve a thick yet spreadable consistency. Add Tony’s seasoning for an extra kick if desired.
3- Prepare the Bread Crumb Mixture:
- In a separate dish, combine breadcrumbs, melted butter, olive oil, and assorted herbs. Stir until evenly coated.
4- Cook the Lamb Chops:
- Heat a cast iron pan over medium-high heat with a little olive oil.
- Add the lamb chops and cook until lightly browned on both sides, approximately 3-4 minutes per side. Drizzle with Browning & Seasoning sauce if using.
5- Assemble with Cheese and Bread Crumbs:
- Remove the lamb chops from the pan momentarily and generously spread the cheese mixture over each chop.
- Return lamb chops to the pan and sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture on top of the cheese layer.
6- Finish Cooking:
- Continue cooking on the stovetop until the cheese has melted and the breadcrumbs are golden and crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
7- Garnish and Serve:
- Remove from heat and sprinkle chopped parsley before serving.
