This Valentine's Day meal idea features a beautifully seasoned and pan-seared fish fillet, buttery herb shrimp, and a fresh Caesar salad. The rich, flavorful sauce drizzled over the dish brings everything together for a restaurant-quality meal at home.

Ingredients

🐟 2 fish fillets (tilapia, snapper, or your choice)

🦐 8 large shrimp, peeled and deveined

🧄 4 cloves garlic, minced

🫒 2 tbsp olive oil

🧈 3 tbsp butter

🌿 1 tbsp chopped parsley

🧂 1 tsp salt

🌶️ 1/2 tsp black pepper

🌶️ 1/2 tsp paprika

🍋 1 tbsp lemon juice

🥗 2 cups romaine lettuce, chopped

🧀 1/4 cup shredded parmesan

🍞 1/2 cup croutons

🥛 3 tbsp Caesar dressing


Instructions

1) Season and Cook the Fish:

- Pat the fish fillets dry and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.

- Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

- Sear the fish for about 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.

- Remove from the skillet and set aside.

2) Prepare the Shrimp:

- Season the shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika.

- In the same skillet, add 1 tbsp butter and minced garlic, then cook for 30 seconds.

- Add shrimp and cook for 2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.

- Squeeze lemon juice over the shrimp and sprinkle with chopped parsley.

3) Make the Sauce:

- Reduce heat to low and add 2 tbsp butter to the skillet.

- Stir in remaining minced garlic and a splash of lemon juice.

- Drizzle the sauce over the fish and shrimp.

4) Prepare the Caesar Salad:

- In a large bowl, toss chopped romaine with Caesar dressing.

- Top with shredded parmesan and croutons.
