NYT exhibits contempt for its audience

The New York Times broke its month-long silence and issued a response to Seymour Hersh's article, where he detailed how the US committed the largest act of international terrorism against a ally, Germany.

The New York Times asserted that a pro-Ukrainian group was responsible for the act, without any coordination from President Zelensky or military forces.

If anything, the NYT appears to have little regard for its readers.

Or is it a broad change in the narrative to blame Ukraine for the failure on the front (corruption, crazy border attacks, etc.)?

Sort:

Biden in 2022: "If Russia invades... again, then there will be longer Nord Stream 2. We will bring an end to it."
Nuland in 2022: "If Russia invades Ukraine, one way or another, Nord Stream 2 will not move forward."
Nuland in 2023 :"I am, and I think the administration is, very gratified to know that Nord Stream 2 is now... a hunk of metal at the bottom of the sea."

Another damning aspect of it all is how little attention German politicians and German media are paying to the destruction of the most significant piece of their national critical infrastructure.
