Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: N/A
Total Time: 10 minutes
Servings: 1 cocktail
Instructions:
1. Begin by taking your orange and cut a slice. Halve the slice and set aside.
2. Cut your lemon in half. From one half, cut a slice and set it aside.
3. Take the cucumber and slice off two rounds from the end. You can add more if desired. Set the slices aside.
4. Now, let's prepare the strawberries. Hull them by pushing a straw through the bottom of each berry to pop out the crown. Trim any extra leaves and quarter each strawberry by slicing it in half, then halving the halves again. You can prepare as many strawberries as you like, depending on the number of drinks you're making.
5. Measure out two shots of Pimm's No. 1 and pour into the glass.
6. If you prefer, you can add your ice now. Though personally, I like to add my ice after the Pimm's.
7. Begin layering your fruit into the glass, starting with the orange slice, followed by the lemon slice.
8. Add in the cucumber slices and the quartered strawberries.
9. Pour Sprite Zero (or your chosen alternative like Canada Dry or lemonade) over the Pimm's to fill the glass.
10. Add three sprigs of mint on top for garnish.
11. Use the straw from the strawberries to gently stir the mix, infusing the flavors.
12. Your Classic British Pimm's Cup is ready to serve!
Cooking Tips:
- Adjust the amount of fruit based on personal preference.
- The fruit not only adds flavor but also makes a delightful presentation.
- If preparing for a group, you can create a pitcher-sized portion using the same ratios as mentioned for a single serving.
