The mushroom was about 12-14 Inches in circumferance. Quite large. Lots of Rum Runners trails around. The real ones for back in the day, when people actually did that. I think that sounds so romantic and brave,

By Rum running do you mean smuggling took place around your cove? That would be cool to learn about ππ

I doubt that the mushroom is edible, I don't forage for fungi. Not going to take that chance, I purchase my fungi at the grocery store or a market. Yes I mean smuggling all kinds of it took place here. Not far from here we have Rum Runners Lane. There is a lot of history about it here. hmm Might make a decent blog. Yes. I did point that out about the purple heart vs black. Sorry ...this brain does not miss too much. Which makes it a busy and tired one. You can use it to your advantage (at times) or you can let it exasperate you (at times). Purple is awesome. Purple is magic, mystery, spirituality, creativity and luxury and royalty. Romantic, intellectual and dignified.
Way more powerful than black.

when I think of Truffles I think of chocolates
