Ugggh, I would much rather be at home in a pair of shorts and a t-shirt, but every now and then I have to play dress up and go out and be social with the boss. The company she works for was having a formal fundraising event that she really likes going to every year. I used to like going out dancing and stuff but here lately, mehh.
There are perks to going though. There's an open bar! That's probably the best incentive to going, the food is pretty good but not good enough for me to get all spiffy for. Another plus was that I got to walk down the red carpet with a hot blonde on each arm. The extra blonde is a friend that tagged along with us. Careful Bandit! An intoxicated Bandit is a very flirty Bandit with wondering hands, must be cautious!
The picture above is one of the towers that are lit up at night in the city. The other tower has colored lights which change during different times and seasons of the year. This is not the best of pictures but it was the best I could do at the time.
Here is my ride picking us up. Just kidding, I saw it and just had to take a quick snap.
I thought it was cool how they left these old trees and built around them.
Stopped here to give you a little color in your life :)
Everyone had assigned seating at this event and it was strictly enforced.
There was a silent auction that had some pretty cool items up for bids. This was the coolest thing that I saw.
This guitar would have been my number 1 choice but one thing knocked it down a peg. It's a guitar signed by Carlos Santana which is really cool. But if you're going to get an autograph like that on a guitar, then why not get it on an actual American Fender Stratocaster instead of the base model Squire? I'm not knocking Squire guitars and I know several people have them and love them but that would be like getting Dirty Harry to autograph a .22 H&R revolver instead of a Smith and Wesson .44 Magnum. Thats just my opinion, sorry.
They had all kinds of things to bid on from a cigar humidor
To several wine vineyard tours and packages.
They even had some nice art pieces.
I thought this dude was Justin Timberlake at first, it wasn't.
After the girls were danced out, it was time to leave and put the Bandit to bed. But apparently the girls worked up an appetite on the dance floor so off we go to a bar close by. As you can see, they are in a hurry.
The bar was a cool brewery that we have been to before. There was a live band that was playing old school hip-hop which was really cool, never heard a local band pull that off before.
Overall, the evening was great. As a matter of fact, it's been a great 420 Holliday weekend, even if I didn't get to go see Super Troopers 2 ☹
But the Bandit still has both of his wondering hands and a place to live so all is good ;) @bluelightbandit
Awesome night out!! How come we didn't get to see you all decked out? The ladies looked fan-freeking-tastic by the way, lucky @bluelightbandit!
I didn't want to tarnish the post any with my ugly ass mixed with the purdy gals. Thank you, Lyndsay!
Woot Woot! Can't whistle as nicely in text, but you get the point...
A night out on the town, every once in a while can be a good thing.
Where is your picture @bluelightbandit? You know the one with the nice suit jacket, shirt, tie, dress watch and shoes... with just the right level of polish?
This is it, this is all you get! I was not in the mood to be photographed. Whaaa, whaaaaa!
My, what a nice flower you're so delicately holding open...
I didn't really notice the details right inside the flower the first time I looked at this photo.
(To busy wondering why the Maitre d'hotel was weeding the flowers. haha! I am teasing you.)
What I can see looks very debonair. ;)
Dope! You are the man, to escort two beautiful ladies is a dream my man. Great post sir!
Thanks big blue!
It's OK.
You just have to be yourself at times. Ha
We are not always perfect gentlemen.
A few sips of the good brew makes nearly everything look and
seem to be much better. lol

I detest crowds with a passion. I avoid them...mostly.
But if you can't...you picked a nice place to go.
You and me both, buddy! As much as I love guns, I hate going to gun shows due to the crowds. The ones in my area are usually so packed that it's impossible to enjoy yourself. And I don't like people in my personal space. Personal space dosen't exist at our gun shows, it's a bunch of bumping a rubbing against each other and that drives me crazy!
Hey, did you ever get you a Beretta tip up barrel like you was wanting a while back?
nope...
I like it but it's not the house caliber...
I'll probably just admire it from afar.
Thank you for your continued support of SteemSilverGold
Thanks guys!
Usually, crowds and I don't mix, but at least this one looks classy. I see they served the rabbit food first. I hope you were served a steak!
Yeah, I can't stand crowds either. This wasn't too bad because there was a lot of space. I guess I might be a little claustraphobic. Alcohol usually helps me tolerate people more, unless they're really annoying, then it has the opposite affect lol.
Looks like a nice night out my friend, even if you did have to get dressed up. Thanks for sharing👍
Thanks man! Yeah, I'm much more comfy in some old shorts and wore out shirts lol.
very nice night my friend. everytime you have to go to get new atmosphere which may be fun. success always for you @ bluelightbandit
Thank you!
Is it me or does the building in the main picture look like a skull head?
I can see that lol, interesting.
This post implies that you can dress them up, but you can’t take them out. To think I held you in such high esteem! I think you had a good time in spite of your misgivings. Lol! 🐓🐓
