First off, lovely photos. We really do have similiar environments, now if I could just make myself run ;)
On my post you asked about how I made my footer. And although I used photoshop and also painted my own art for mine, you can simply use your photos or free photos and text etc. If you don't have photoshop I thought I'd share this old youtube tutorial on using libreoffice which is just a free programme.
I hope it helps. It's kind of old and 20 min long, but I thought it could help until you get photoshop or just use an online banner maker. Have fun!
