Unusually, this time my family and I went to Jatiluhir Reservoir and Cirata Reservoir. This short and close holiday event turned out to be less disappointing, even more fun than last semester's vacation.
The scenery is really charming, where the natural beauty combined with a slick management and coupled with not too crowded atmosphere in the place. The added value of visiting this place besides presented beautiful scenery, we also can see how the shape of one of the power plant in Java Island. We can imagine how big the generator is embedded in the hydropower plant and how much water is sliding into it.
In the middle of the reservoir there are many fish cages. When viewed from a distance keramba-keramba looks like a village in the middle of the dam. These cages are used by residents to raise fish, although some are deliberately utilizing them to serve as tourist arenas such as restaurants and fishing grounds.
According to data I can, that keramba-keramba existing in Jatiluhur reservoir has been too much and exceeds capacity. Keramba can contaminate the water reservoir because the food of the remaining fish will settle at the bottom of the reservoir. Meanwhile, based on the hydrological cycle Jatiluhur reservoir will experience flow-up in a few years, where water will remove the dirt-dirt and this is what causes the fish in the reservoir to die.
In terms of the experience of eating on a cage myself I feel very comfortable with the place because maybe this is my first experience to eat surrounded by water scenery. However, it was tainted by the cuisine served by the restaurant. In terms of taste may still be standard, but the price is too expensive! Probably reasonable when the price is expensive but the portion is plenty, but what I get is a small portion and not enough to eat a family. To go to the cage I have to board the boat. Boat prices initially without negotiable is 80-100 thousand, but we can share until the price of 40-50 thousand.
After I was satisfied to be in Jatiluhur (actually the stomach is not satisfied), my family and I plan to go to Plered to buy jars for home decoration. But what's to say, the remaining urns in Plered stay a little and the jars offered are not special. The one thing that is severe is the way in Plered is damaged, the damage is severe bangeeet. Finally we continued our journey to Cirata Reservoir.
The end of my journey and the family again resolved the appetite stuck by the food in the expensive and little cafes restaurants. We decided to eat Sate Maranggi. But not Maranggi expensive version, but the version of the people. His name is also the version of the people, of course the price and taste was adjusted.
Finally I highly recommend this place as an alternative travel destination, especially for people of Jakarta. Instead of a vacation to Bandung and make my city stuck my beloved better holiday to this place, hotel facilities and others are already available well. Or maybe for the people of Bandung itself who already feel saturated will increasingly crowded city, hot, rowdy, and jammed, this place may be able to relax the eyes for a moment.
