Who but a Friend would spend time and upvote my posts faithfully, when you have hundreds of articles and posts available to choose from?
For that I thank you.
Our beloved Steemit gives us lots of opportunities to choose. But, with our choices comes responsibility. We all want to have our Steemit to be the place that the world comes to for quality time spent.
Time is so important to everyone of us.
And for our world viewing Friends.
It is no different. Time moves along swiftly for most of us each day, week, month and year.
The photo is a glimpse of my growing up years. See the time warp? Ha
No, that is not me in the photo nor the house that I grew up in.
My plan for each day is to walk for exercise and show you what I see as I walk along.
This community is such an interesting place to observe the various arrangements of what their ideas may be for curbside appeal.
The people in this community comes from all over the United States and from around the world. One of my good friends is from Taiwan. Others are from California. Some from Europe. Some from New Zealand. Oh, I had better mention Canada. @rebeccaryan would expect that if I am listing "some" of the regions and countries. Ha
Not every home and house is worth a "king's ransom" as you can see. There are homes and houses available in the community that lower income people might be able to afford. Many times these houses are grabbed up and torn down to be replaced with something more in line with today's designs.
And others are being renovated and modernized. For a hefty price to the would be buyers, I will add. So move quickly if you have any interest in Florida homes. The builders and renovators will soon have the houses out of price reach for many.
Not every part of the community is cluttered with houses.
This would be considered to be a snapshot of an average home.
If it was for sale. The price range would likely be $250-$300 thousand or more.
That is just a guess for me. I know that those around me are selling high.
The lowest priced, ready to move in home, was $225 thousand a year or two ago.
My walks will always be rewarded in our community.
We can look for some water as well as flowers and houses. Such as this in my walk.
The houses located with waterfront yards and lots are selling for higher prices. Imagine that. lol
Most of us like being around the water. A high percentage of the world's people look for water to build next to or at least close.
For me now. These views are close enough to easily walk to. So, I have a tendency to move into the direction of the water many times in my walking days.
Looking across the water and seeing the other side.
A canoe would be fine. Just take your camera with you. Ha
I am sorry Friends. We have to go back. We will come back again some other time.
I would like to be high and lifted up.
But all of you my Friends know me? I am just a "Dreamer?"
No. In my heart of hearts. I try and want to be the "real deal."

It was in one of my dreams. I can remember that so well.

Your post brings back fine memories of Florida! I loved kayaking in the freshwater canals...so much to see, and so peaceful. I too, am drawn towards the water. Thanks for the nice reminder on this snowy January day!

One thing I have learned over the years. We adjust to the conditions that we are in.
It may not be to our liking at that time and place. But we think we know that is will change at some point in the future.
And it is no different now. The North is cold, while here it is warm. Soon it will be warm up there and hot here. Ugh on the hot. Ha

Ah yes...the hot! I remember it as well, although not as fondly. You are right..humans are adaptable. Maybe that's why I like to move around every 7-10 years or so. Next stop--perhaps back to the tropical world!

How I have missed your words and replies. I know that you are overloaded as are many Steemit posters and bloggers. Does the need and workload ever slow down a little?
For me. Not until we see more than what we now presently see on Steemit.
Do we want the masses to finally reach out and take hold of the Steemit offering and opportunity?
I think so and then I know so. Correct me if I am wrong. Isn't that why we labor so hard almost daily?
"Everything has a price," it is said. And we are now paying the price for a limited amount of Steemit success.
Get ready. We are soon going to be overtaken by a tsunami and flood of the masses. I can feel the tremors of the leading edge of that massive outpouring already. Yikes....

That is what we have been laboring so hard for. To get floated up to the Steemian skies.

Another really nice walk, Francis. The house prices are ridiculously high, like everywhere else when the construction companies and developers move in. Nice music today, Francis. We all like to dream sometimes. As long as we know the difference between the dreams and what is reality.
Dreams and reality.
Reality is that which answers to truth. And the truth is that most of the time we are disappointed.
It may at first be with others that we are disappointed. But, in the end. We know that it is us that
has missed the mark.
If we are wise. We know. If we don't? We soon will.
One more thought about dreams. Just because we may be wise. That doesn't mean that we aren't vulnerable. Oh how well I know that.

I would love more than anything to live near water, I live inland with few waterfront opportunities, but one day I will build a big water feature in my own yard.
What we don't have. That is what we often want. What we have. Many times can become meaningless.
The satisfaction is in the journey. Once we have completed the task. We wave our arms and hands up in joy.
Then after that. It can become commonplace to us.
Water? Where I am now. Water in a swimming pool in the summertime is the most valuable water that I know of.
Only a dry thirsty soul in some sand ridden desert values it more.

Cool photography of nature real inspiration me. Beauty flowers always attracted our minds. Ladies like more than boys for flowers. Perhaps flowers equal to the ladies. Its true. Let me tell you how I started out on Steemit. I didn't even know how to post.
I was on Facebook very few times before I came to Steemit. When I was finally able to learn how to post.
At first, I didn't even use photos.
My upvote value was one (1) penny if I was lucky. It was awful. I didn't know anyone . Then after a time.
@rebeccaryan found me and I was lifted up out of the morass. She is still my Queen and leader today.
Queen of Steemit I call her. And she is to me. I don't know about others.
Thank you for encouraging me to continue. What I do today was not what I did a few months ago.
And you will too in time. Just watch, read, and learn. It isn't too hard. It is time consuming though.

I've had lots of dreams in my life. There are some I remember, but most have faded into the recessesof my mind. To be honest, I've never really given much thought as to whether they could come true or not. That was not until I took a man's life in a crime of anger and frustration which resulted in me receiving a life sentence in prison. This caused me to reflect back on a reoccurring dream I had while growing up that always used to feel so real at the time that it would make my heart race and have me thanking God that it was only a dream.
We all have human emotions. And anger is one of them. Anyone, and I mean anyone, can be caused to not only have anger. But to follow through in retaliation at the peak of anger.
Most people have learned how to control their anger to a point. But beyond that point. It is not good.
I myself have been very angry at times. Lucky for me. I didn't follow through. It was so close though at times. But, I understand the angry emotion as most of us should.

This is a wintertime paradise. Never gets so cold that crops doesn't grow. Not in recent years anyway.
What makes this state so nice is this. Everyone works nearly a lifetime. Then brings their money down here.
And people from all over the world comes here. Water on two sides of the state. Keeps it warm
Hurricanes are a problem at times. But the builders know how to build to avoid storm damage now
New housing of all kinds have to meet strict code regulations to be approved by state and county laws.
So, come right over. You will find most people are friendly. 50 percent or more are old/er.
They are so glad to finally get to a warm climate to get away from the Northern cold.
