So you know what that Staghorn Sumac (Rhus glabra) looks like, with its lemon-flavored red hairs on the seedhead, for sure! Those Jack-in-the-pulpits look so healthy and strong. They are such an interesting plant -- first a male, then a female. It takes so many years before they ever even flower and fruit. Thanks for showing them -- and I hope you see plenty of wildflowers this spring! :D
