We lived in the Thunder Bay area (across the border north of Duluth) for a while, and while the markets were pretty good, we never saw this variety of fresh fruits in the winter!

Yeah, I wonder how they manage that!
There's a produce terminal not 10 minutes from the market where fresh produce is received every day from all over the world. They either truck it in nightly, or they will literally fly it in on aircraft (from overseas), truck it from Pearson to the terminal where people buy it and it then goes to supermarkets, restaurants, and other retailers all over Ontario.
