You said you were blown to your destination, so I was confused for a minute. I thought you had gone sailing or paddle boarding. Then I figured out you were saying it was windy and that you had walked. Being that the water was iced over a few posts ago, I don't think that's where you'd want to be swimming. Since you had chickens in the post too, can they swim? They have all those feathers, but they're not duck feathers. Would they just soak up all the water and sink?

I have never taken the chickens swimming yet, though they do hate water a lot, and have their baths in sand. They look like drowned rats when it rains, poor things!!
