You're lucky that this beautiful place is just near you. If I live there, I may be hiking each week. And it's also a way to face the fear of heights. I used to have that fear too and that has lessened sinced I started hiking :)

I'm limited on how much walking I can do cause of my disabilities. Specially in winter. In summer I can do more. Yeah this canyon has all sorts of hiking trails around the rim too.
I'm glad you still do these despite the limitations :)
It's actually better for me to keep moving then to not. Not moving makes things worse and can actually lead to more limitations down the road. It's a balance between some movement and overdoing it .
