Ar-Razi or known as Rhazes in the western world is one of the Iranian science experts who lived between the years 864 - 930
Ar-Razi is also known as a versatile scientist and is considered one of the greatest scientists in Islam
He was born in Rayy, Tehran in 251/865 and died in 313 H / 925
Ar-Razi has since studied philosophy, chemistry, mathematics and literature. In medicine, he studied with Hunayn bin Ishaq in Baghdad
Upon his return to Tehran, he is believed to lead a hospital in Rayy
He also led the Muqtadari Hospital in Baghdad
As a prominent doctor at a hospital in Baghdad, ar-Razi was the first to make an explanation about smallpox
Razi is known as a scientist who discovered the disease "allergic asthma", and the first scientist to write about allergies and immunology
In one of his writings, he explains the onset of Rhintis disease after kissing roses in the summer.
Razi is also the first scientist to explain fever as a body mechanism to protect oneself
In the pharmaceutical field, ar-Razi also contributes to making equipment such as tubes, spatulas and mortar
Ar-Razi also developed drugs derived from mercury.
