Tucker Carlson's Explosive Interview With Vladimir Putin explains that when Carlson’s interview of Premier Vladimir Putin of Russia aired on February 8, Putin pointed out that Russia and the Ukraine had been ready to sign the Minsk Accords of 2022, but Boris Johnson (then Prime Minister of Britain) torpedoed the agreement. The articles and videos below show that the West wants to use the war to weaken Russia and to get Ukraine to join NATO.
The Biden administration has spent $113 billion spent on Ukraine war and Biden wants to bring that up to $200 billion. During the war in Ukraine, hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians have been killed or displaced and the Biden administration has sent billions of dollars of tax payers’ money to fund the war. Biden has suggested sending US troops. There is no discussion in the administration on how to end this escalating conflict which threatens all of humanity.

US accuses Boris Johnson of sabotaging Ukraine-Russia peace deal 12/13/22
As the scrutiny on the US’ role in fueling the Ukraine war grows in Europe, the US has already found its scapegoat. Now, US officials have started pinning the blame on European leaders
Ukraine Russia peace deal: In July, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that peace negotiations were going on between Russia and Kyiv in March. Putin, after meeting with the presidents of Turkey and Iran in Tehran, told reporters, “There were well-known negotiations in Istanbul, when we actually reached an agreement, the only thing left to do was to sign it.” He, further, said that Russia even made concessions on the ground, militarily, for the deal. He added, “In order to create these conditions, our troops withdrew from central Ukraine, from Kyiv, but the Kyiv authorities refused to implement these agreements and have no desire to do so even now.”
DID THE UK TORPEDO PEACE TALKS ON UKRAINE? explained in late 2022:
THE WEST IS HELL-BENT ON PROLONGING ITS PROXY WAR ENDLESSLY. IAN SINCLAIR PROVIDES THE EVIDENCE….Why did the British government try to torpedo the peace talks? The answer likely lies in the references above to the “collective West” and the opportunity to “press” Putin. As Leon Panetta, the director of the CIA under president Barack Obama, explained in March: the conflict is “a proxy war with Russia whether we say so or not."
The US is interested in inviting the Ukraine into NATO – which poses a threat to Russia. Interestingly, in his talk with Carlson, Putin said Russia expressed interest in joining NATO because it is no longer a communist country. However, the US under President Bill Clinton refused. Putin Says He Discussed Russia's Possible NATO Membership With Bill Clinton reports:
Putin delivered this account in a series of interviews with U.S. film director Oliver Stone set to air later this month on the U.S. television network Showtime. Excerpts of the four-part series have been released online in recent days, including one obtained by Politico in which Putin discusses NATO, whose eastward expansion following the collapse of the Soviet Union has long angered Moscow.

The US corporate media widely criticized Carlson for interviewing Putin. However, Tucker Carlson's Explosive Interview With Vladimir Putin explains that many journalists have interviewed Putin earlier without any accusations of “treason” or threats on their ability to return to the US. So, why was Carlson criticized for the interview? Possibly because it threatens the propaganda of the endless war machine. If more Americans understand more of this complex story, they may be less likely to see Ukraine as all good and Russia as all bad. They will be more informed and may have a deeper understanding of the real issues.

Five key moments from Tucker Carlson's interview with Putin 2/9/24
From a rambling 'history lesson', to 'arrogant' Boris Johnson and threats of World War Three -- here are the top five moments of the sit down.
Putin threatens World War Three if US puts troops in Ukraine
Putin accused the US of “cheap provocation” over its continued military aid to Kyiv, and warned Washington against extending that support to deploying troops to Ukraine. “If somebody has the desire to send regular troops, that would certainly bring humanity to the brink of a very serious global conflict,” he told Carlson.
He continued that America should focus on its domestic issues. He said: “Don’t you have anything better to do? You have issues on the border. Issues with migration, issues with the national debt. More than $33 trillion. “Wouldn’t it be better to negotiate with Russia? Make an agreement. Already understanding the situation that is developing today, realising that Russia will fight for its interests to the end.”
‘Arrogant’ Boris Johnson is why Ukraine is still fighting, says Putin
Putin repeated claims that Boris Johnson sabotaged a peace deal with Ukraine that was being brokered with the assistance of Turkey in the spring of 2022. Carlson asked Putin about reports that Ukraine was “prevented from negotiating a peace settlement by the former British Prime Minister acting on behalf of the Biden administration”. The former prime minister has previously vehemently denied the claims as “total nonsense” and said he merely “expressed concerns” about the nature of the potential agreement during a conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
When Carlson raised the issue, Putin said: “Prime Minister Johnson came to talk us out of it and we missed that chance. Well, you missed it.” He added: “The fact that they obey the demand or persuasion of Mr Johnson, the former Prime Minister of Great Britain, seems ridiculous. “Where is Mr Johnson now? And the war continues.” Carlson replied: “That’s a good question. Where do you think he is, and why did he do that?” Putin said he “did not understand it”. “Because of arrogance, because of a pure heart, but not because of a great mind,” he said.
The former top US national security official overseeing Russia policy wrote:
According to multiple former senior U.S. officials we spoke with, in April 2022, Russian and Ukrainian negotiators appeared to have tentatively agreed on the outlines of a negotiated interim settlement: Russia would withdraw to its position on February 23, when it controlled part of the Donbas region and all of Crimea, and in exchange, Ukraine would promise not to seek NATO membership and instead receive security guarantees from a number of countries. But as Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated in a July interview with his country’s state media, this compromise is no longer an option.
These terms had apparently been ironed out in face-to-face peace talks in Istanbul, Turkey on March 29.
Hill did not reveal what killed the peace process, but the Ukrainska Pravda report from May made it clear that it was Western pressure on Ukraine that sabotaged the negotiated settlement.
As US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin stated publicly on April 25, Washington’s goal was to use the proxy war in Ukraine to “weaken” Russia.
Boris Johnson accused of sabotaging Ukraine peace talks (video) 2/9/24
Western allies led by UK’s Johnson sabotaged tentative Ukraine-Russia peace deal 9/1/22
There’s mounting evidence that the war in Ukraine could have been over by this point, but key Western backers of Kiev sought to sabotage the potential for peaceful settlement through negotiations. That’s precisely what regional Ukrainian media reports concluded as early as May, soon after the UK’s Boris Johnson showed up in the capital on a “surprise” visit to meet with President Volodymyr Zelensky for the first time the month prior.
This is what a bombshell story in Ukrainska Pravda said at the time, but which was almost completely ignored in Western mainstream media:
The Ukrainian media English-language report went on to emphasize that Three days after Johnson left for Britain, Putin went public and said talks with Ukraine “had turned into a dead end”. At the time the Istanbul peace talks, which saw top officials from each warring side gather in the Turkish capital, was hailed in some corners as “the quickest way to end the war in Ukraine” – according to Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s words, who was seeking to mediate between Moscow and Kiev.
But as the invasion ordered by Putin pressed on, Britain especially was the earliest out front in making large weapons and munitions deliveries to Ukraine via military transport planes a high priority. UK press reports also took note of the ‘convenient’ timing of London going all-in hawkish on Ukraine given Prime Minister Johnson’s enduring ‘Partygate Scandal’ at home. Again, recall the tone of Ukrainian media following the arrival of the British prime minister in Kiev (and it should be noted Johnson was the first leader of a G7 country to visit, coming two weeks after Russian forces withdrew from suburbs around Kiev) on April 9:
This disclosure and confirmation from the US side – that there was a tentative agreement on the table for Russia-Ukraine peace is a huge revelation, again which will likely go largely missing from popular mainstream media coverage. And of course, the glaring omission in the Foreign Affairs essay is Boris Johnson’s aforementioned direct role in scuttling the potential for peaceful settlement at what looked to be a ‘finish line’ moment. Whether or not peace would have ultimately held up will never be known.
What remains clear at this point is Ukraine’s “path to NATO” seems to have already been let go as a key talking point among Ukrainian leadership and in Brussels for now. And yet, there are currently no signs of peace or ceasefire negotiations anywhere on the horizon, also as the Kremlin looks poised to possibly expand its war aims into annexation of territory.
Boris Johnson Pressured Zelenskyy to Ditch Peace Talks With Russia: Ukrainian Paper 5/6/22
"The British government has become an obstacle to peace in Ukraine," said the Stop the War Coalition. "The conflict there is developing into a proxy war between Russia and NATO and it is the Ukrainian people who will suffer the consequences."
The Ukrainian news outlet Ukrayinska Pravda reported Thursday that British Prime Minister Boris Johnson used his surprise visit to Kyiv last month to pressure President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to cut off peace negotiations with Russia, even after the two sides appeared to have made tenuous progress toward a settlement to end the war.
Citing unnamed sources from Zelenskyy's "inner circle" and advisory team, Pravdareported that "Johnson brought two simple messages to Kyiv": "The first is that Putin is a war criminal; he should be pressured, not negotiated with. And the second is that even if Ukraine is ready to sign some agreements on guarantees with Putin, they are not. We can sign [an agreement] with you [Ukraine], but not with him. Anyway, he will screw everyone over," is how one of Zelenskyy's close associates summed up the essence of Johnson's visit...
Johnson's position was that the collective West, which back in February had suggested Zelenskyy should surrender and flee, now felt that Putin was not really as powerful as they had previously imagined. Moreover, there is a chance to "press" him. And the West wants to use it.
In public remarks during his trip, Johnson vowed that the U.K.--in line with the U.S., Germany, and other western powers--would continue ramping up its "military and economic support and convening a global alliance to bring this tragedy to an end, and ensure Ukraine survives and thrives as a free and sovereign nation." "I made clear today that the United Kingdom stands unwaveringly with them in this ongoing fight," the right-wing British leader said, "and we are in it for the long run."
In the weeks ahead of Johnson's April 9 visit, high-level diplomatic talks held in Belarus and Turkey had failed to yield a diplomatic breakthrough, though reports in mid-March indicated that Russian and Ukrainian delegations "made significant progress" toward a 15-point peace deal that would involve Ukraine renouncing its NATO ambitions in exchange for the withdrawal of Moscow's troops….
Johnson, too, has publicly dismissed the prospect of an imminent diplomatic resolution to the conflict. Speaking to reporters on April 20, the British prime minister said that negotiating with Putin was like dealing with "a crocodile when it's got your leg in its jaws." "It is very hard to see how the Ukrainians can negotiate with Putin now given his manifest lack of good faith," Johnson said. "His strategy, which is evident, is to try to engulf and capture as much of Ukraine as he can and perhaps to have some sort of negotiation from a position of strength."
It's not clear how Zelenskyy himself responded to Johnson's reported push to halt peace talks. On the same day of the British prime minister's arrival in Kyiv, Zelenskyy told the Associated Press in an interview that "no one wants to negotiate with a person or people who tortured this nation." "It's all understandable," he continued. "And as a man, as a father, I understand this very well." But, Zelenskyy added, "we don't want to lose opportunities, if we have them, for a diplomatic solution."
On Friday, Zelenskyy said in a virtual address to the British think tank Chatham House that "not all the bridges" to a peaceful settlement with Russia "are destroyed."
Eisenhower: Beware The Military/Industrial Complex
President Dwight David Eisenhower was a 4-star general in the US army. Yet, in his farewell address on January 17, 1961, President Eisenhower warned America about the rising power of the military-industrial complex that wants endless wars. The legacy media is now just talking heads for the US government. Is that why it so roundly condemned Carlson for his willingness to hear the other side of the story in this dangerous war.
President Dwight Eisenhower Farewell Address
President Dwight Eisenhower spoke to the nation in a farewell address. The address, sometimes referred to as the "Military-Industrial Complex Speech", is considered by some to be one of the most significant speeches of the Eisenhower presidency.
As Ike left office, John Fitzgerald Kennedy became president. He had been a war hero in the Navy and is famous for the words he spoke at the United Nations: “We will never negotiate out of fear, but we will never fear to negotiate”. Kennedy was able to bring the world back from the brink of an almost-certain nuclear holocaust when he had a telephone hotline installed in the White House that let him talk more directly to Premier Krushchev. Both the US military and the military of the USSR were pushing for war, but Kennedy and Krushchev were able to broker a peace that helped save humanity.
Will Tucker’s Interview Facilitate Peace Negotiations?
In the video below, independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. points out that France, Germany, Russia, and the Ukraine signed the Minsk Accords in 2014 and Minsk Accords #2 in n2022. However, the US sent British Prime Minister Boris Johnson to torpedo that peace agreement. Putin mentioned Johnson’s role during his interview with Tucker. Diplomacy Watch: Did Boris Johnson help stop a peace deal in Ukraine? See NYT What Are the Minsk Accords, and Could They Defuse the Ukraine Crisis?
Kennedy also explained that when the former Soviet Union agreed to the reunification of East and West Germany in 1992, it was with NATO’s promise not to move further east. However, NATO has since moved 1,000 miles east across 14 countries. Now, there are talks of the Ukraine joining NATO – which is an even more direct threat to Russia. Secretary General in Kyiv: Ukraine is closer to NATO than ever before. Kennedy points out that the Biden administration wants war with Russia because it sees it as an opportunity to finally defeat a decades-long opponent. In addition, the military/industrial complex always needs an “enemy” to justify its massive budget.
None of that is in the interests of the American people, Russia, the Ukraine, or humanity. Carlson was a courageous journalist and real hero in conducting the interview with Putin. It could lead to more balanced reporting and facilitate an end to this war that Is expensive in dollars and lives.

people are sufferings and that's the saddest thing.
People like him who always think they can fight the world peace, they will really be disgrace as time goes on
Boris Johnson’s resignation was one of the most discussed topics on those days.. All Ukrainians which i heard from and they are sad that he’s no longer Britain's prime minister. On the other hand, these people aren't stupid and they know that military aid from Britain to Ukraine will continue, there’s no discussion about it. They also understand why many people in and out of Britain do not particularly like Johnson.
On no account should the world peace be actually replaced because that is on the basis that the world lives and should actually dwells on.
Looks like this is a matter of agreement and breaking it or stuffs like that. The sad part of it is that the people who know nothing about what is happening are always the ones who suffer for it
I hope they stop endangering the lives of innocent people
Someone said politics is indeed a dirty game and that the US is doing all just to retain power.
When someone reneges on a deal, this is where wars start again and innocent lives are lost, so other countries should pay attention to this so that no one violates their language.
Putin sometimes gets it right and sometimes gets it wrong. This is how politics works
Well Russia publicly supports Iran North Korea and china. The axis of evil that has the most human rights abuses on the planet....
Currently Rush is paying in gold for Iranian suicide drones.
Not to mention of course Russia invaded Ukraine not once but also twice and the Minsk agreement actually is being violated. Which basically means that all NATO countries have a duty to protect Ukraine because it gave up all of its nuclear weapons...
Russia very easily could just leave ukraine..
And in fact this entire thing is turning into a bloodbath for the russians.. it's estimated Russia only has 10% of its military strength left as well as the entire Black Sea fleet has taken catastrophic losses from a country with no Navy. Hahahahaha!
Russia is going to fall and communist enabling isn't going to help them. Seriously rushes in the middle of throwing meat waves. Wagner group already rebelled and marched on Moscow and pretty nearly took Moscow from the rear!
Ukraine has held. It's lost lands but recovered way more. While destroying the most feared army in the world.
And watch the neutered Russian bear lose the eastern oilfields because,,,,!
Putin's rewriting of history and now his little claims have been jumped on by China who is demanding the return of Manchuria and Siberia.... Oh snap!
Meanwhile the Russian anti-war protests is growing and it's looking like Russia's becoming incredibly destabilized. Public support is dwindling. Losses mount. And there's not enough Russian tanks and troop transports to work anymore.
Russia invaded Ukraine in part because the Minsk agreements had not been honoured for many years.
Ukraine has admitted that it did not intend to fulfil its part, but signed this document in order to deceive Russia and delay the time for arming! This was stated by ex-President Poroshenko on our TV channels. Ukraine has reneged on its commitments.
Sergey Lavrov said that Angela Merkel and Emmanuel Macron had assured Vladimir Putin in telephone conversations that they would address the issue of undermining the position of the Russian language and the languages of other national minorities in Ukraine. They said they would "specifically deal with the appropriate influence on the Ukrainian president". Mr Lavrov said the French and German foreign ministers had "completely ignored" this aspect of the draft statement.
Russia refused to hold a ministerial meeting of the Normandy Four on 11 November at France's suggestion. Sergey Lavrov explained this by the fact that Moscow had submitted proposals on the content of the meeting to Paris, Berlin and Kiev, but there was no reaction to them
On 30 June a documentary film by French director Guy Lagache, "Un President, l'Europe et la guerre" (The President, Europe and War), was broadcast on France 2. It is devoted to Mr Macron's policy on resolving the situation in Ukraine. The film showed a recording of his telephone conversation with the Russian president. The full transcript of the conversation was published a few days earlier by the newspaper Le Temps. It specified that the conversation took place on 20 February, four days before the start of the Russian military operation in Ukraine. The talks lasted almost two hours. The Kremlin said that Vladimir Putin during the conversation accused Ukraine of escalating the situation in Donbass. It follows from the transcript that the Russian president called to "put pressure on Ukraine" to fulfil the Minsk agreements. Following the conversation, the presidents also agreed to hold a meeting of the trilateral contact group on Ukraine, which was also confirmed at the Elysee Palace.
Since the start of the military operation in Ukraine, the presidents of Russia and France have repeatedly called each other and talked for more than 100 hours. Their last conversation took place on 3 May. The Kremlin believes the calls have stopped because the West is betting on the "continuation of the war."
Former German Chancellor Angela Merkel's admission in an interview with Zeit Online that the Minsk agreements were signed in order to give Ukraine time to prepare for military action with Russia can be used for tribunal proceedings. This was stated at a briefing by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.
On 7 December, Angela Merkel said in an interview with Zeit that the Minsk agreements were concluded to "give Ukraine time" and Kiev used it "to become stronger". In early 2015, Putin could have easily taken over Ukraine. Merkel said NATO countries would then not have been able to support Kiev to the extent they do now
On 9 December 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin said he was disappointed by Merkel's comments and felt betrayed by the collapse of the Minsk agreements. He accused Germany and France, who mediated the Minsk agreements in 2014 and 2015, of betraying Russia and pumping weapons into Ukraine to kill pro-Russian residents of lugansk and Donbass (separatists), against whom the Ukrainian army has been conducting an anti-terrorist operation since 2014.
Surely you know that Ukraine has cut off water and electricity in the occupied territories despite the suffering of the Ukrainians living there? This is genocide of its own people, based on political and linguistic differences.

The situation in Ukraine is highly problematic, and the reality is that many of the layers of this crisis are complex. The measures taken by different governments and their leaders have far-reaching impact, and one should approach them with the analytical perception. Vladimir Putin's allegations about Boris Johnson and the UK prompts many questions about the intentions behind certain moves and the risks for peace talks. The goal should be for transparency and accountability to be pursued in international relations to avoid expansion of conflicts.
So the minsk agreement didn't mean anything?
Or the very clear two invasions. For the 8 years of telling the world that the Russian military wasn't actually involved and gas lighting the world?
Russia started this war and alleging that Boris Johnson and the United Kingdom forced Russia into invading is absolutely hilarious...
