There was the time our parents worried about what their sons would eat. Today, they don't want food anymore. They've all become blood-thirsty. My brothers have lost touch of their humanness, ready to cease any given opportunity to slit throats and break the bones of a fellow mortal in the name of a dream that promises the death of their families. Must we experience the sadness of violence before appreciating the lessons we already have in war-torn nations? Syria. Yemen. Libya. Iraq. Somalia. Afghanistan for crying out loud!
I guess I am just another self-opinionated fool clowning under the costume of a sorry keyboard hoping to be taken seriously. And as I type this, I hear the buzzing sound of a chopper hover over my office building and the blaring of sirens around it. Are we few minutes away from another sporadic shooting? Which mother is about to lose a son? What community is going to dig more graves? God will not be blamed for the stupidity of a tribe that orchestrates its very extinction.
This would probably be read just here on steemit; but I am confident if many find the opportunity to decide their fate today, they'll agree with me and sheathe their swords for the sake and peace of an unborn generation.
My name is Henry, and I just want to make common sense
