Putin is a philo-semite (who was bequeathed a Tel Aviv apartment by his much loved Jewish teacher) while elements of the Ukrainian armed forces (Azov Battalion) are genuine neo-Nazis.
Even if he is not, he respects military strength and Israel has that, as well as the ability to really hurt him (in Syria) if he does not respect Israel's military strength.
I don't think Israel or the Jewish people have any dog in this fight but if anything Russia under Putin has been better to the Jews than any previous time in Russian history and certainly Russia has a better historical record on anti-semitism than Ukraine.
Remember the Russians lost 60 million defeating the Nazis (which saved the Jews) whereas significant elements of the Ukrainians collaborated with the Nazis.
Anyone who talks about the Rothschilds is so fundamentally deluded that I would pay no attention to what they say.
Putin's ultimate goal is to get back the buffer zones that Russia lost when the USSR collapsed. He has made that extremely clear.
However if Europe keeps being congenitally stupid and commits acts of war against Russia by supplying arms to a belligerent in wartime Putin might get cocky and keep the tanks rolling into Poland and Germany.
There is little to stop him. Ukraine had 2000 tanks, Poland has 800 and Germany has 300. Russia has over 10,000.
