I've tried Telegram but I hate it's organisation... or better, the lack of organisation. Discord is a lot better but for some unknown reason, people got addicted to Telegram.
But then again, most people preferred iOS and Android over the magnificent Windows Phone. So it's not a surprise that the best alternative is the lesser known one.
Anyway... governments should just stop censoring people. Have they learnt nothing from the past? It never ends well. Never.

In Russia, Discord has no popularity.
Many Russians Do not even know anything about the service Telegram. But they approve of all the actions of the Authorities. That's a big problem. People are afraid that there will be a repetition of Ukraine, afraid of the Civil war.
Hmmmm... Let's hope not. Russia is a needed presence in this World. It's the only country keeping the crazy American Politicians in check. :-P
