RE: One Thousand and One Nights: Wardan the Butcher and the Vizier's Daughter: Third Night + Origin of the One Thousand and One Nights: Part One

I did not hesitate to ask her to marry me.

I knew it! 😅 Just like I said in my last comment, I suspected Wardan likes the lady beyond just a physical attraction and may end up marrying her. What a satisfactory end to this riveting tale. It's a short chapter and I'm excited to see that you started another story.

I've always wondered why Scheherazade told stories to the king every night and the narration always lasted till the following morning. From the story of King Schahria and his brother, we will know more about this deal between the king and Scheherazade.

Two royal sons who are rulers of their kingdoms! This is an interesting detail. Are these brothers married or still bachelors? This chapter does not say what kind of relationship exists between them —whether they are friendly or see each other as competition. I look forward to knowing more about these two brothers and why King Schahria requests to see his brother. Thank you for these fascinating stories. 😊😊
