RE: My Wartime Diary. Twelve days of war.

Words fail me in the desire to "speak" encouragement into the life of one undergoing what you and your people are experiencing @zirochka. Particularly in light of all the inevitable "why" questions surrounding a war which seems inexplicable on the surface of it.

To even begin, we have to try to get through all the deception and propaganda with which we are constantly bombarded. Talk amongst us here has a sadly recurring theme - in our long lives, we have never seen it as bad as it is now ...

On the other side of the world, I would like you to know there are many, many Americans who are supportive of Ukraine through this, in spite of whatever impressions may be left by the incompetent people (my opinion, along with millions of my countrymen) currently in power over us.

We all need great wisdom as to how best to proceed from here, as there is no going back now. And great courage to face whatever is coming. As bad as it is there in Ukraine, it is hard to imagine what seemingly small miscalculation / misunderstanding / ?...? would lead to World War III, engulfing much of the rest of our world. Particularly if it was to result in the use of nuclear weapons ...

We continue to pray for you and your people. We have great admiration for the courage and will being shown, in the face of such tyranny. May our Sovereign God bring it to a just and merciful end soon.

I feel you. Before this happened, I did not believe, could not believe. I thought it was a bluff. I did not know that this is possible in our time. How wrong was I. Therefore, now I don’t even try to predict about the use of nuclear weapons...

Let's unite, Ukrainians. Разом ми переможемо!
