The classic Seiko Turtle dive watch. The Seiko 6309 Turtle has been around since the 80's and it's a pretty iconic functional dive watch at that time with its curved case profile at the sides make it look like...you guessed it, a turtle.
Now discontinued, but you can still get them used for about $230-250 USD even in a beat up condition. Pretty expensive for an old watch you say? Yes but the Turtle has a following. It remained very popular among dive watch enthusiasts in fact Seiko even released a set of Turtle Reissues under their Seiko Prospex Divewatch line.
The classic Turtle on the left and the Prospex reissue on the right.
Now it's quite difficult to find one of these classic turtles in pristine condition, and if you do find one, it might cost quite a fortune.
Hope you like this one guys. Stay tuned for more wrist candies. You can also follow me on instagram @wristalkph where I post daily pics of watches I wear.
Till next wrist candy!
