RE: THE COMING WATER CRISIS -- Are You Kidding Me?!

in #water8 years ago

I feel lucky that I was born and still live in the country which is blessed with the abundance of clean water. We are still free of buying drinking water, that so called fresh & clean water trapped in plastic bottles from which, in fact, is sucked out not only some dangerous bacterias but whole its core vitality (like good minerals, etc.) In other words, we can still drink tap water, and it has a perfect taste - totally different than bottled one.

On the other hand, I'm scared this blessing could easily turn into a curse. Meaning, water could easily become a cause for some new future war. We witnessed, not so ago, the wars for oil (Irak, Libya, Syria, etc.).

As well, in past few decades, we could see the rulers of the world (whoever they are) are marching heavily towards gaining the absolute power over the whole humanity. The imposed debt bondage into which the population of the countries, with even highest living standards, are thrown (through banks and all sorts of other political and economic manipulations) brought us to this very day where only selected and/or very lucky few are not worrying how to meet the ends.

From my point of view, raising the overall poverty, combined with almost inaccessible health care (through high prices of almost essential drugs, and not even to mention the expenses of medical procedures in case of some serious illness) was just one of the stages on their path.

What else could they take from us to make us completely powerless?
We already have 11% of total world population (or to be more precise, about 800 million people) who are malnourished. Death by starvation is still higher than death caused by malaria, tuberculosis, and AIDS, combined. So, food is already and for some time in the process of being taken from us. The only thing left, unfortunately, it's water - the essence of life!
