I don't mind drinking water, but I don't drink that much of it, and I don't think I have gone a day just consuming water alone in many years now. I don't mean not consuming any food, I just mean only choosing to opt for water as a drink during the day.
When it comes to choosing drinks, I am still a sucker for soda, coffee, and juice. And rarely ever choosing to drink milk.
I recently came across this viral video challenging people to drink nothing but water for 30 days, and I think that it would be an interesting challenge for me to take part in because it's one challenge that I think I would definitely struggle with completing.
I really would like to opt more for the water than the sugar-filled garbage, and I think this challenge might be a good way to try and promote that habit of drinking more water in my life. But it's just never a drink that I have found myself craving. This challenge just might be something I will try.
I drink water every day. I do have a black coffee or tea in the morning but I could easily give that up if it would start to interfere with my health.
If I want to treat myself I have coffee with milk or ice-tea. But that does not happen more than once in two weeks and I am happy that I have this habit for coupe of years now.
Give it a try, you will reduce intake of unnecessary sugar.
thx for your thoughts!
Nice post. Thank you for sharing.
I can happily drink water and only water for life. I wasn't always like this of course, and enjoyed the sodas and shakes like the rest of us, but in the last couple of years, I have been researching my body and what it needs, and what it needs is water.
Not just any water, in some parts of Gauteng Province, South Africa, the tap water is in the top 10 cleanest in the world, but it has zero nutritional value in it, it can't quench my thirst, plus, they spike it with fluoride, and my pineal gland doesn't like fluoride. So I make a habit of drinking Natural Spring Water only.
Dont just drink water because someone gave you a challenge. Research why water is an option in the first place, and why 70% of your body is made up of water.
Blessed
Adding lemon, limes, cucumber, or other fruits and vegetables helps me drink a lot more water.
agree! i really like the idea of infusing it with such items
I MUST have my coffee.
I know someone who went 40 days but I couldn't do it
Oh she didn't even eat anything. If I could eat stuff then I could drink only water!
WOAH! sounds like a real challenge! lol
I can't stop drinking a coffee with sugar, but I also drink water a lot. I make my own water with some herbs and some other materials . The water taste is different and good for health. I plan to post later about it because it's quite well. Nice posting~!! I upvote with smile..See you~
I just wanted to say that if you do try this, when coming off your fast you should ease back so as to not have blood sugar spikes, going for plant based foods before carbs and sugars, even though you will crave them. Likewise, wean into the fast to prepare your body, eating less and less over a week or so. Also,
Taxation is theft & Government is Violence.
It's not related, it's just worth knowing.
That's a challenge worth trying, even following it up medically with a blood/checkup analysis at both ends of the spectrum, a great idea for a few posts, if you catch my meaning ;)
