The water leaf plant is commonly farmed by the local of ipav community that resides close or near around the swampy area where there is water so they can easily water there vegetables even when it's dry season and this gives them a lot of money as the level of demand for this green is higher than the supply quantity.
The locals of this village mainly women enduge into water leaf farming as they make certain beds in the pharthama and transplant their baby vegetables and constantly care for it to mature.
It's called the filed of green as certain types of vegetables are been cultivated only around the swampy areas for easy access to water
Some of the people seen in the above pictures with their bucket normally fetch water from the river and water their plants and also apply certain type of animals droppings as fertilizer and it's really helps them go along way as it's replenish the plants in terms of nutrition.
This lady is also in action as she moves to grab her bucket which is kept on the ground and continue with the grind. Farming has done a lot more for the locals here than any other thing but they lack a lot of basic materials to help ease the work as they depend solely on man power with no irrigation systems and no support at all.
