The dry season is upon us and very soon, the wells will dry up and so will the small ponds and streams. The amount of water will reduce considerably and so, it is good to save every drop of water.
Those who use the shower to bathe are actually contributing to wastage of water. It would be better not to do that at least until the rains arrive.
Since it is dry nowadays and hot in our areas, please remember to drink enough water in order to avoid dehydration. At the same time, avoid fruits that are cold because it would interfere with the body functions and you might end up becoming sick. For example, watermelon is a cold fruit and it is better not to eat it during the winter season.
Tips for the season
- drink warm water
- eat whole grains based foods
- do not skip breakfast
- save water
- use creams for chapped skin
