Hello folks, this post about water. Today we'll discuss about earth on water.
- Water is the most resources abundant on earth, covering about 75% of earth's total area.
- Although water is plenty on earth, the world total supply of fresh water is only 2.5% of the total amount , the rest (about 97%) being in the form of oceans which is very salty (3.5% of total concentration ). , water available for drinking and other useful purposes is limited.
- Ultimately only 0.014% of the earth's total volume of water is easily available to us for agricultural, industrial and domestic purposes.
- This limited amount of water is further polluted to a great deal by man and his activities. Hence it is urgently required to use the available water most carefully and economically.
