Good morning Steemians!
Waking up this morning was ok, but getting out of bed was truly a chore. It was more difficult than any other day so far. I felt a complete lack of energy until I drank some water. I chugged what water was beside my bed, probably 2 cups. I think I'm definitely in ketosis right now, because it seems that my body is eating itself. This was the whole idea.
I can feel my heartbeat in my chest more pronounced than I used to. No eye boogers, again. No headache, either. I think I'm totally over my caffeine addiction.
Still don't feel hungry. It's weird, by now I was sure I would be really hungry. Not the case.
Going to see how I feel after 5 complete days, which will be Tuesday, July 25, at 4:30 PM and see if I should stop or go on to 7 days.
Oh, today is my birthday! I am 28! I feel old lol.
I'll give you guys an update on Day 3 at around 5:00 PM this afternoon.

Yes, I might do some shorter fasts more often, like eat 2 days fast 1 or 5:2
For myself I try and do intermittent fasting, eating for 12 hours on and 12 off at a minimum or 10 on 14 if my schedule permits. I have had great success with this
I pretty much do this all the time, except sometimes I eat after 7. :D

Sinuses drained, and hunger gone. Rest when you can, deeper sleep will return when you start eating again.

You don't have to water fast to get over caffeine addiction. I just did that to not mess with my water fast :)

I figured you'd be fine by day 3. The next few days will be a mental game. You may be thinking to yourself that you feel weak and maybe you should call it quits.

I did 5 full days and lost 10 pounds. It was a real eye opener!!!
Nice!!! I'm dabbling with the idea of doing 10 days. Saw a video of Matthew McConaughey who did a 10 day fast to speed up metabolism and fat burning. The hardest part I think...is my wife. She loves to cook and feels weird about eating in front of me while I'm fasting, LOL!!!!
Lol... She wouldn't do it with you? That's kind of how my wife felt, but she wanted to do it with me (don't remember why she didn't)
