Ship Wreck at Malapascua Island, Northern Tip islet of Cebu
Photo credit by Roman Tura (Gopro Hero3)
One of many attraction of cebu is Malapascua island where several sunken ships are located and deeply embedded at the sea floor. It is a haven spot to all adventurers, free divers and professional divers. Malapascua island offers a biodiverse marine life and habitat. Malapascua island is the only habitat where Thresser shark is found. If you wish to reach this place you are required to travel from cebu mainland up north and charter a boat heading to the island. Its kinda expensive if you go solo backpacking but if you are with family and friends expenses will be cut short. It is one of the tourist destination whole year round.
