@xplosive shares a detailed account of the very unique perspective of living in a cave/tent community with a wild Harris’s Hawk as a companion…did I get all that right?
Thank you. I am very happy that I won this HSBI raffle.
You are almost completely right about my description.
My Harris's hawk is not wild, but parent reared. So I did not took her from the wild, but I bought her from a breeding center. Now currently she is completely tame with me. We literally sleep together. And she is not much afraid of the strangers either. Except dogs. She still fear and scream at dogs.
How amazing! You do indeed have a very unique story to share.
Thank you for the correction on that too, I honestly thought after I posted that…is she wild? but decided not to edit it out. I’m glad to have learned a new aspect of your inspiring journey!
Congratulations to @xplosive
