If the pain is one that is worse when inspiring with associated fever, it could indicate pleurisy
If the pain is associated with associated shortness of breath, it could indicate a pulmonary embolism.
If it is a pain that gets worse when lying on your back and is relieved when leaning forward, it may indicate pancreatitis,...
If it is pain that is relieved by leaking forward, it could be pericarditis.

It turned out to be 5 blood clots in the lungs and mycoplasma pneumoniea.

Mycoplasma pneumoniae was responsible for the pleuritic chest pain... The blood clots in the lungs were a possible complication
In my experience, the mycoplasma pneumoniae caused the fever. I had no pain associated with that (I had it for about a week prior). The blood clots caused the pain that made me call the doctor because the pain was similar to what I experienced about 11 months ago, where they found 2 big blood clots in my right lung.
I had been off my blood medication for about 4 months (due to liver complications) and this time around, there were 5 clots. So now I need the blood medication for the rest of my life, and they're also still trying to figure out what's wrong with my liver. And on top of that, I have crohns disease which they are also trying to figure out if I should be treated for.
All of this has been going on for the past year 😂
