Go to your wallet. At the top is Ecency points. After you have claimed any points you have pending, the button will change to "get points." Clicking on it will bring you to another screen where at the bottom is a button that says "free points." Click on that will take you to the spinning wheel, where you can do one free spin per day to win points.
You can use them to "boost" (ask the Ecency curators to give a big vote to, though it's not guaranteed depending on the post, their vote value at the moment, etc) or "promote" (promotes it in people's feed who don't otherwise follow you) a post; you can do it on your own posts or someone else's post that is less than a day old. I like to do it on other people's posts since my normal vote is only a few cents, to give a bigger reward to nice posts that I like. :)

When i claim the points the spin button does not appear. I use ecency.com/wallet. Do I need to have another wallet?
Nope, it's on Ecency. You have to give it a minute to update after you claim points, and it should look like this:
I installed the app, logged in, made a claim, and then got "get points". Thanks a lot 😀
What is the best way to use the ecency points we collect?

Thanks for advices. They mean a lot to me, since I'm new here, so I'm taking it slow...
You're welcome! I'm happy to help. :)
