I think my dad just got scammed. Someone pretending to be his bank told him to transfer some money to a 'safe account'. Luckily it wasn't too much. In the UK you can get through to your bank by dialing 159 to check it's really them

They make a lot of money as people don't realise the risks. Banks would never ask you do that and anyone can pretend to be them on the phone.
